From First Presbyterian Church
Thank You
With grateful hearts we thank our church family for all of the cards, food, words of comfort and love, and the many acts of kindness shown to us during this very difficult time of Scott’s passing.
A special thanks to the ladies for the lovely lunch and to Pastor Clint for his compassion and words of comfort and hope. We are so blessed to be a part of this very special and loving church community.
Roger & Donna Harms and Family
THANK YOU
Thanks to all of you who helped support the Okoboji 200 bike ride through donations, housing, interest, and encouragement. The ride raised over $60k to fight human trafficking in Iowa and Nepal and all of your various contributions are appreciated.

Gobble! Gobble! TURKEY SUPPER IS ON THE HORIZON!!
At the present time, Marilyn and Ray Miller will be the chairpersons in charge of the supper this year, but we do need to fill the position of co-chairs, as impending health issues are preventing Sharon Caskey from continuing in that capacity. Co-chairs would be in an assisting position this year to Marilyn and Ray, and then move into the head position the following year. We ask that you please give some thought to helping us fill this position quickly.
Please contact Charlene Radcliffe (330-6668) or Cheri at the church office (336-1649) if you have any questions regarding the turkey supper or to volunteer to be the co-chairs.

The Next POET Dinner Event
Here is information for the next POET event. The Spencer Dream Center has a pasta night on Friday evenings through the summer. They are expecting us July 31st. At 6:45pm they are going to share with us about the ministries that are happening there. Dinner will be served between 7 and 7:15. Pie Servers Needed at Okoboji Bible Conference
The 81st Okoboji Bible Conference will be here before we know it! Conference dates are Aug 1-9th. Each evening of Conference pie is served following the service. They supply the pie, but are wondering if six to eight people representing First Presbyterian Church would be willing to volunteer to cut and serve it Sunday, August 2nd? We ask that you arrive at the Fellowship Center on our Conference grounds at 6:15 pm. You may attend the service at 7:15 and leave during the last prayer at its conclusion to serve the pie. You should be finished by 10:00 pm. If you are interested in helping us, please contact the church office at 336-1649.
