Easter Lilies
Again this year, our lilies will have even more meaning. We have decided to add to the cost of each lily and use these proceeds to benefit orphans with medical supplies. So while we celebrate the resurrection, we will also be ministering to orphans in need. The lily alone will be $11.00, anything given over that amount will be given to our orphan mission. Please call Cheri at the church office at 336-1649 to place your order, and please let us know if this is in memory of, or honoring someone.
Lenten Bible Study and Soup Supper
The Six Great Ends of the Church
Dinner begins at 5:00pm and the study begins about 5:35pm. Like last year, the Lenten series will be hosted on our website and in podcast form. See the Church website for more information.
March 24 – Practicing Praise – “The maintenance of divine worship”
March 31 – Keeping it Real – “The preservation of the truth”
April 7 – Making a Difference – “The promotion of social righteousness”
April 14 – On Display – “The exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world.”
A sign up sheet for soup, bread, veggies, and dessert is posted in the Narthex on Sunday mornings or at the study on Sunday evenings. Childcare is provided.
New Member Recognition
We will be recognizing all “New Members” on Sunday, April 7th. If you are interested in becoming a new member but haven’t filled out the paperwork yet, please stop by the office and pick up a Personal Information Sheet at your earliest convenience. Then on Sunday, April 7th, you will be asked to come to the front of the church as a group. A special coffee time will be held in your honor. We hope to see you there!
