Andrew is notable for how many of the disciples he introduced to Jesus and how he was ultimately martyred on a cross shaped as an X. James is one of only two disciple’s whose martyrdom is recorded in the scriptures themselves, though there is some extra-biblical controversy as to whether he was the first evangelist in Spain.
