Clint grew up in Bronson, Iowa and attended Northwestern College in Orange City. While there he met and married Jane, and then it was off to Louisville, KY for seminary. Following graduation, Clint was called to serve a church in Denton, TX as an associate pastor of youth and young adult ministries. After 8 great years in TX, which included the birth of their daughters, Bailey and Emma, Jane and Clint moved back to Iowa and joined the family of First Presbyterian Church in Spirit Lake in the spring of 2003. The two plus decades at FPC Spirit Lake have been a true blessing, and also during those years Clint and Jane have welcomed a son-in-law and a grandson into the family. Jane serves the School District of Spirit Lake as Director of Business and Finance, and for the past several years Clint has been involved with the high school football program. Clint and Jane both enjoy bicycling, outdoor activities, sports of all kinds, reading, and cooking. However, most of their current free time is dedicated to being grandparents, and planning the next excuse to go see their grandson!
