Thank you for stopping by to learn more about First Presbyterian Church!
At FPC Spirit Lake, we have a traditional style worship service on Sunday mornings at 8:50 a.m. (Reformed) and a contemporary style service at 11:00 a.m. (Reforming). Casual dress is typical at either service, both services have a children’s sermon as well as childcare for newborns-Pre-K in our church nursery, and we would love to have you visit either in person or via live streaming (8:50am service only)!
If you decide to come in person, be sure to join us following the 8:50am service for coffee, treats, and fellowship beginning at 10:00am every Sunday. From September through April, we have age specific Sunday School classes from Pre-K through adults from 10:10am-11:00am.
We typically celebrate the sacrament of communion on the first Sunday of the month. (We practice an open communion table and welcome anyone who acknowledges Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to join us.) We also have the privilege of frequently celebrating the sacrament of baptism during worship.
If you are unable to attend our service but in the Iowa Great Lakes area, you can listen along on KUOO FM 103.9 Sunday mornings between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. Our services are also available anytime on our website, sermon podcast, or Roku app.
Our congregation seeks to grow in our faith through fellowship and educational offerings of all kinds. Be sure to learn more about how we can grow together in Christ with you!

We continue to monitor, local, state, and federal guidance related to Covid-19. At present, we welcome mask wearing in all of the worship, fellowship, and educational activities of the church. We encourage everyone to prioritize the health and safety of their families by either joining us in person or online depending upon your individual needs.
We are so glad to have met you and we sincerely hope that you will join us for worship, fellowship, and Christian discipleship. If you want weekly updates about the life and activities of FPC, we encourage you to sign up for our “Weekly Update” emails. If you have any questions about our church or how you or your family can be involved, feel free to reach out to one of our pastors Clint Loveall or Michael Gewecke.
