Michael Gewecke grew up in Saint Cloud, MN and attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK where he met his wife Rachelle Gewecke. After welcoming their first daughter Emily, Michael and Rachelle moved to the east coast where he attended Princeton Theological Seminary. Michael joined the staff at First Presbyterian Church in Spirit Lake in the summer of 2013, shortly thereafter, the Gewecke family grew with the birth of Olivia Gewecke. Michael served as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Families until becoming Co-Pastor in January of 2024. Amidst trying to keep up with two energetic girls and serving alongside the church family, Michael also enjoys dabbling in a variety of hobbies including emerging technologies including computers, smart phones, websites, AI, and etc. (he isn’t picky) and video games.
