Hello everybody, welcome back to the pastor talk podcast has been a while since we’ve been with you
Hope you’ve all had a good summer as we look here towards the transition to the fall
We’re excited to be looking towards the beginning of our next daily Bible study and that is going to be happening on
September 9th and we are going to continue to live stream that every day at 2 o’clock and then to provide that
Everywhere that this podcast goes both on YouTube as well as on the audio podcast wherever you listen to that
Hope that you will be aware of it and that you might be interested in joining us as we kick that off here on September 9th
If you know a little bit of your Bible,
you know that the gospel of John is interesting for lots of reasons
One of them is because of the four gospels
It is the most unlike the others and John has a unique perspective
Some things that you will know about John that you may not know that you do already
but John has a different storytelling style and a very fascinating look at a
spiritual take on the story of Christ much less
concerned with some historical details much more concerned with
Painting a picture of the kind of cosmic Christ as John understands it
and a really interesting book I think in many ways I
Don’t this is fair
Michael may be the less known of the God people will know things that are in John but they may not know that they’re in
John and they may not connect it to why they’re in John and why that’s significant
So if you’re interested in the Jesus story John adds a fascinating chapter
To those to that collection and I hope you’ll join us as we try to do our best to mine some of that out for you
As we get ready for that series.
There’s two things I think that you could do the first would be just mark that on your calendar so that you know that we’re gonna start September
9th at 2 o’clock central and then of course
This is a great time to invite someone else to join us for that study whether they live close or they live very far away
The format makes it easy to connect and hope that you will consider inviting someone to join us for the journey
