Join Pastors Clint Loveall and Michael Gewecke as they begin a new series called “Faith Fights.” From historic arguments over doctrine to modern conflicts over preferences, Christians have managed to fight about almost anything. Some of these family squabbles have had monumental importance and some have been largely a waste of time and energy. Join Clint and Michael weekly in December and January for a mostly lighthearted look at some of the things Christians have fought about, why they did it, who won, and whether it matters.
In this introductory episode, Pastors Clint and Michael will explore the fundamental question, “Why do Christians fight?” Throughout the course of the conversation we will see that conflict has been a reality for Christians since the very beginning of the faith. And conflict, though often a challenge, has been used by God to lead the church to greater faith and more faithful practice. Fighting isn’t always bad nor has it always been destructive, but it has been a long and storied reality for Christians. It turns out that there are a lot of things that Christians have fought over but only a few reasons why.
